Sterling Silver + 14k Gold Honeycomb Prism

152.00

A collaboration with bees. Honeycomb is built by bees to store pollen and honey and to hold their larvae.

This honeycomb came originally from Virginia-based beekeeper Amanda Welch and her bees at Meeting House Farm.

This necklace is cast from a single hexagonal prism of honeycomb in shining sterling silver and the interior of the prism has been plated in 14k yellow gold. The honeycomb pendant hangs on an 18” delicate (but sturdy) light-catching chain made from recycled sterling silver with a spring clasp.

Each and every piece of Thicket jewelry is carefully made by hand in my Charlottesville studio and production can sometimes take 1-2 weeks before your order is shipped (although it’s usually sooner!). If you do have a specific timeline please get in touch by emailing rebecca@shopthicket.com and we’ll do our best to get your new jewelry to you in that time.
